Awards include the Award of Distinction from Sunco (received [1985]); Jean A. Chalmers National Music Award (1995); nomination for a Juno award (1998 for Tabuh-Tabuhan, Music of Colin McPhee); Musician of the Year (Alex Pauk) by the Toronto Musicians' Association (2000); and the Toronto emerging composer award (2003), which Esprit Orchestra was involved with.
