Scope and content

File consists of carbon copies of letters (most of them from Sr. Mary Jo Leddy, editor) to readers and supporters of the Catholic New Times, thanking them for their donations, suggestions, and contributions of articles, reports, and photographs. Some of the letters from Leddy also request continued contributions from regions of Canada outside of Ontario. File also includes carbon copies of letters from Leddy to staff at other publications (both Catholic and secular) regarding the use or exchange of features, columns, and photographs or the exchange of subscriptions, and carbon copies of letters from Leddy to Members of Parliament and one to Prime Minister Trudeau regarding aboriginal treaty rights. Original incoming correspondence is included with most of the letters.
