Scope and content
File contains the manuscript piano (only pages 1-12) and full scores, as well as annotated copies, typeset versions, and orchestral parts for Derek Holman's Two Poems. As the name suggests, the piece contains settings of two poems: "Dejection" by Robert Bridges (1844-1930) and "Everyone Sang" by Siegfried Sassoon (1886-1967). The piece was commissioned by the Choral Art Society of Portland, Maine and its music director Robert Russell, for the 25th Anniversary Celebrations of the Society.
