The University of Toronto Guitar Orchestra is one of the student ensembles at the Faculty of Music, started by Eli Kassner (director, 1982-1997). Subsequent directors of the ensemble include Alvin Tung (1997-1998), Steve Thachuck (1999-2002), Jeffrey McFadden (2002-2021), and Rob MacDonald (2021-present).
