History
The University of Toronto Faculty Association (UFTA) was previously named the Association of Teaching Staff (ATS), and is the professional association of the faculty and librarians of the University of Toronto and affiliated institutions (St. Michael’s College, Trinity College, and Victoria University). Its mandate is to promote the welfare of current and retired faculty, librarians and research associates, including economic well-being and conditions of employment. The Vic Chapter is made up of librarians and Emmanuel College faculty.
