Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: It was about 30 years ago that Pere Thomas made the discovery which is at the heart of the Christian message that God has chosen the foolish of the world, the weak to confound the strong. He has chosen those of lowly birth and those who are most despised. So it was that Pere Thomas called me to meet his new friends and so it was that L'Arche was born. It is because of Pere Thomas that we are all here. We too have made that same discovery.
