Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given by Fr. Bill Clarke at a Covenant Retreat in January 1986.
Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: Back in the late 60’s I was in Trosly and had my breakfast every day at the foyer of L’Arche. I would be greeted by Zizi every morning, so nothing really changes. Yet that house has changed a lot, only Maxine is still there. Yet many others have changed houses. It’s a wonderful experience to go back and to meet these people again and to be touched by their fidelity. Some of the men at the Val have been there before L’Arche began. I am touche by the fidelity of these men who live the daily life, day after day and year after year. I am always struck by their fidelity and welcome, which has been so enriching for me. The building blocks of fidelity are rooted in daily living. There we don’t always see the beauty; But what we need to know is that they are significant building blocks, not just for us but for our church and our world.
