Folder (1) contains draft (1), which is a copy of a manuscript (October 1982). Folders (2) to (6) contain drafts (2) to (6), which are typescripts with remarks from various readers (1983), including:

    Folders (7) to (9) contain partial typescripts of various revised versions of the text (between 1983 and 1984). Folder (9) contains third revisions of the Introduction and Chapter 1. Folder (10) contains a copy-edited typescript of Chapter 2 (1984?).
