File consists of a Good Friday radio broadcasts: (1) a program on the history of passion music, narrated by Dr. Leslie Bell; (2) a program of Good Friday and Easter music, presented by the CBC in cooperation with the Canadian Music Educators' Association (CMEA) with performances by various school choirs (St. Joseph's School, Halifax; St. Patrick's Girls School, Halifax; University Hill Elementary School Vancouver; Saskatoon Boys' Choir; Our Lady of Mercy Glee Club, St. John's; Loretto Abbey High School, Toronto). The script for the CMEA program was prepared by Leslie Bell, and it was broadcast in advance of the third annual CMEA convention in Montreal.
