Scope and content

File consists of correspondence and other material regarding Nouwen's lecture at St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, Kildare, Ireland. The title of Nouwen's lecture was " From Communion to Community and Ministry." Proceeds of the event went to the Trocaire Lenten Campaign. Includes material about the Trocaire campaign including a brochure, poster, sticker, and box. Also includes a copy of the march 1991 issue of the "The Furrow," a journal for the Contemporary Church. The travel itinerary indicates Nouwen also went to Holland during this trip. There is nothing in the file about Holland, he probably went for a personal visit.
