Ritsema informs Zuckerkandl that the Hutchinsons [Li Osborne (later, Louise Hutchinson) and William Dodge Hutchinson] have returned to England and that he has not heard from them. He thanks Zuckerkandl for the article “Im Kampf um das Wort.” Ritsema explains that the finalizing and printing of the conference program had to be delayed by a month and that Zuckerkandl will receive it by mail. Professor [Adolf] Portmann has asked Ritsema to inform Zuckerkandl of the new regulations concerning the transmission of the conference over radio and the agreements with Rhein-Verlag and Eranos about author participation and remuneration. He informs Zuckerkandl that he can negotiate his contract through him or directly with Rhein-Verlag. Finally, he discusses the financial support being provided by the Bollingen Foundation to help attendees fund their travels. Zuckerkandl is entitled to claim 1000 dollars (4300 Swiss francs) for his travel.
