File consists of one letter from Stephen Van Houten, expressing appreciation for Nouwen's writing, especially "Return of the Prodigal Son," and thanking Nouwen for mailing him a poster of Rembrandt's "Prodigal Son" painting. Van Houten writes about a song from 1968 by the Rolling Stones titled "Prodigal Son" that also means a lot to him, and wanted Nouwen to hear it. He includes a page with the lyrics to the Rolling Stones song. Van Houten also wrote to Nouwen in 1995 to express his appreciation.
