File consists of ten letters from (Dr.) Arthur Freeman of the Moravian Theological Seminary (Bethlehem, PA) and copies of several pieces of his writing, including: a poem, a sermon entitled "A Realistic Ecclesiology," articles entitled "The Perspectives of Oliver Sacks and A. Luria" and "Developments in New Testament Study," a review of Nouwen's book "In the Name of Jesus," a review of "Addiction and Grace" by Gerald May, and an outline and the manuscript of Freeman's book "Spiritual Formation: A Study of the Experience of God and Life and the Formation of the Christian." File also includes a copy of a letter to Hillary M. Wasserman of Peter Lang Publishing, Inc. (New York, NY) regarding this manuscript, a photocopy of a chapter of book entitled "The Transforming Moment: Understanding Convictional Experiences," printed materials that accompany tapes of the Ken Bailey program "Jesus As Theologian: The Parables of Jesus," and a postcard depicting the Central Moravian Church. File also includes two letters from Connie Ellis, Nouwen's administrative assistant.
