File consists of two letters from David van de Velde, on behalf of de Open Ankh. Letter from August 18, 1992, van de Velde writes with information on de Open Ankh, and asked Nouwen if they could organize a program that he would attend in the Netherlands. Van de Velde mentions a mutual friend, Emile Zwetsloot. In Letter from January 28, 1993, van de Velde writes to thank Nouwen for meeting with him on January 12, 1993. He includes a typed summary of the meeting.
File includes a short typed letter from Nouwen from March 6, 1993, thanking van de Velde for his letter, an expresses pleasure at having met him and his colleagues. He tells van de Velde that he had a good time writing in Germany and wrote a book about care for the dying.
