Letter from March 27, 1996 includes a photocopy of a letter from March 18, 1996, to Pat (Elizabeth Sibley Parry) from Frederick Amrine, Chair, on behalf of the University of Michigan Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures, telling Parry about the plans of the German Department for a scholarship in honour of Marilyn Sibley Fries (Parry's daughter, who died in 1995), and for the donation of Marilyn's library to the German Department.
