Correspondence consists of original copies and photocopies of letters, cards, and postcards. A recurring theme in the correspondence is how much Nouwen values his friendship with Busch. The inscriptions are on copies of "Christ of the Americas: Dying and Rising and Coming Again" and "The Poor: Path to Unity". This second folder also includes the following typescripts appended to letters sent by Nouwen:
- L'Arche and the World - sent Jun 4, 1987
