File consists of letters from Nouwen's editor Susan M. S. Brown. File includes one letter which accompanied an edited manuscript of Nouwen's book "The Inner Voice of Love". File includes a fax to Nouwen's administrative assistant Kathy Christie, with a memo to President Jimmy Carter, stating that Brown has suggested that Nouwen send several of his books to Carter. This fax is attached to a letter from Christie to Nouwen with suggested books. Nouwen annotated the list to include "Here and Now". File also includes a letter from Brown to Christie, regarding her work on volume 1 of "Spiritual Journals" and "Bread for the Journey". "Spiritual Journals" was the working title; the book was published as "Sabbatical Journey: The Final Year" (1997).
