Scope and content
File consists of copies of letters to Lulu Wendel from Anton T. Boisen, and manuscripts by Wendel entitled, "From Bedlam to Bethlehem", collected by Nouwen. Letters to Wendel from Boisen are regarding a manuscript she wrote about her own experience (citing Boisen) in 1961 (letters are dated 1961 and 1962). There are two copies of Wendel's manuscript; one complete version with illustrations, and one without. File also includes an article by Wendel entitled, “A Visit,” and a Christmas portrait of the Wendel family in 1970. The material was sent to Nouwen by Wendel in 1971.
