The file consists of:
1) June 29, 2010 an original, hand-written letter written by Jutta Ayer to Brynn Phillips Lawrence.
2) A photograph of Jutta Ayer and Brynn Phillips Lawrence in Nouwen's old room at L'Arche Daybreak. Photo was taken May 14, 2010 using the automatic setting of the camera.
Ayer wrote the letter to Phillips Lawrence after they met in May of 2010 at the Cedars, Daybreak. They met there with the intention that Ayer would donate the letters she received from Nouwen, as shown in the photo.
