Scope and content
Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given at a Renewal Retreat in 1979. The title of the retreat was "Unless a Man Be Born Again."
Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: Talk #5: We can't always understand the pattern of God in our lives. It's hard to tell what is progress and what is not. It's like climbing a mountain; to get to the next peak, you have to go down again first. The marvellous thing about the love of God is that he leaves us free, like the Prodigal Son. Let's now look at relationships of Jesus with some of the people he encountered. Talk #6: We have been talking about vocation and we have seen it first and foremost in the fact that God loves us and in his call to us, which we find in the still , small whisper of God. Today we will look at Mary because she shows us herself through the gospels, though we know little about her. But from Luke we can say she was a person of prayer who was ready to accept what the angel announced to her.
