File consists of manuscript scores and parts for arrangements by John Beckwith of music from the early 19th-century collection of Niel Gow. These arrangements were included in the "Canada's Scottish Heritage" program at Music at Sharon (July 12, 1986). The selections were:

  • The Marquis of Tullibardine's giga : for clarinet, horn, percussion, violin, viola, cello, and bass / Niel Gow
  • Nathaniel Gow's lament for his brother : for clarinet, horn, violin, viola, cello, and bass / Nathaniel Gow
  • Mrs. Hamilton of Pincaitland's strathspey : for violin, viola, cello, and piano / Nathaniel Gow
  • Old Lee Rigg, or Rose tree : for horn, percussion, violin, viola, cello, and bass / arr. Niel Gow.
