Scope and content
Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given by Sr. Sue Mosteller at a Covenant Retreat in October 1987.
Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: Side one: Today is Carol’s birthday in my community and there is a party right now. Guess where I would rather be. Carol is so simple and she is one of the people at the heart of our community. She’s dependent for most of her vital needs. Basically she waits for us to help her. If she only knew that she is calling us into much more than giving her a bath. Her presence causes all sorts of things to happen. All the Carols in your communities are the reason why we are here for this retreat. Side two: Good morning! I invite each of us to look at nature today. Things are shutting down for the winter. The trees look like they are dead. In a similar way, we are going to enter the desert today. Each of us is being invited to do that.
