Scope and content
Series primarily consists of records documenting Michael Fieldus’ academic career at the University of Toronto. The series beings with a CV and photograph of Fieldus followed by records that document his undergraduate and graduate education,
including a course with Professor Stafan Mochnacki and his undergraduate thesis project which was supervised by Dr. Bolton. Records include syllabi, course notes; transparencies and slides for a presentation, essays and research papers, progress reports, a copy of his undergraduate thesis, reference materials, research notes and data, as well as correspondence and feedback from Dr. Bolton. There is also one file, which Fieldus had titled “Humour,” placed at the end of the series containing correspondence, newspaper clippings, and drafts for the GASA Gossip column of the David Dunlap Doings.
For a file list, see Series 1 in Appendix II.
