Scope and content
This series documents FitzGerald’s academic research and writing, primarily on topics of lesbian and women’s history, and contain drafts of articles and talks, and documentation about conferences, lectures, and events she attended.
Also included are several files related to a study of mature women students at the University of Toronto, ca. 1984-1994. Though there was never any final output, the questionnaires and interviews offer a glimpse into this segment of the U of T student population from this time period.
In addition, there are 3 files related to FitzGerald’s work as a research assistant to Dr. Norman Bell at the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in the summer of 1968, on a project titled “Adolescent Drug Users in Timmins, Ontario”.
