Catharijneconvent Museum is a museum of religious art. It is located in Utrecht, in the Netherlands, and was opened on that site in 1979. The museum includes art from the Catholic Archbishopric of Utrecht, which was housed in the building (as the Catharijneconvent) until 1979. The museum has religious artifacts from the early Middle Ages to the present, and includes Protestant and Catholic art, as well as art that reflects the cultural history of Holland. Artists whose works are at the museum include Rembrandt van Rijn, Frans Hals, and more.
