Established in 1985 by Robin Engelman, the Contemporary Music Ensemble (CME) is a student chamber ensemble at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music dedicated to the performance of "new" music. Subsequent directors of the ensemble were Gary Kulesha (1991-2009), Norbert Palej (2011-2014), and Wallace Halladay (2014-present).
