Scope and content
Item consists of 1 audio cassette featuring a talk given by Dr. Howard Griffin at a conference titled "Festival for Life". Talk is untitled.
Content notes (or transcription) from beginning of the recording: Many terrible things were happening to black people that most white people had no idea was happening under their very noses. I told them that the city was about to explode as this was atrocity #68. All black people in Mississippi knew of all these incidents. I am always asked: "Can't you help people be more patient?" What we have all over the world, which is growing, is a dehumanization or anti-life forces that end up doing the same thing, that is turning human persons into individuals that have no sense of their personal value.
