1) Henri Nouwen at his apartment in New Haven sitting at a desk and talking on the phone (photographer: Jim Forest)
2) Henri Nouwen with a small group of people, including Jim Forest, at Nouwen's apartment in New Haven (photographer unknown - Jim Forest says that someone else took the photo using his camera, but he does not remember who)

Jane Redmont confirmed as photographer of photograph 2 and 3. Photograph 3 appears in Spring 2006, Volume 2, Number 1 issue of Harvard Divinity Today as part of a feature on Nouwen titled: A Spiritual Mentor's Lasting Influence, along with others from same shoot. See SP220.
Photo 4 was taken by Mary Ellen Kronstein in 1976. It appears on the dustjacket of The Living Reminder designed by Barbara Hall.
