File consists of newspaper articles, newsletters and other material regarding Nouwen’s death. Included are thoughts from Don McNeill about Nouwen’s funeral and burial; a transcript of Art Laffin’s talk at the funeral; a poem by Geoffrey Whitney-Brown; and a transcript of Jean Vanier’s eulogy at Nouwen’s funeral in Utrecht on September 25, 1996. Also in the file are handwritten notes from a talk given by Nouwen at St. Jerome’s College; the September/October 1989 issue of The Other Side feature the article “Henri Nouwen: A Conversation Between Friends”; and newspaper article clippings regarding Russian pilots that appear to have been misfiled.
