This reel was purchased along with other reels by Robert Purse early in the 2000s. The reels were related to Notre Dame University, which is why they were purchased together. Purse realized this reel did not match the label on the case, and posted a blog about the reel (http://blog.wfmu.org/freeform/2009/01/after-the-death-of-dr-king.html), and a few people suggested in the comments that the speaker was, in fact, Henri Nouwen. He was contacted by Kathy Smith and purchase of the reel was arranged. The reel was donated to the Archives by The Henri Nouwen Legacy Trust.
