Scope and content
Zuckerkandl has sent a manuscript [unspecified, likely from the 1964 conference] via airmail to Rhein-Verlag. He has printed his musical examples and diagrams himself. He is grateful to Li Hutchinson for going through his documents and finding a lost manuscript. After some thought, Zuckerkandl has chosen to change his title again, now addressing symbolism in musical form. Zuckerkandl has not been able to solidify plans with the Julliard Quartet. Their agent is asking for the Eranos dates to see if they can secure a date. Zuckerkandl sends Ritsema more contact information. In the postscript he asks Ritsema if he can follow up on Zuckerkandl’s permanent residence permit, since Zuckerkandl has not heard back about it in months.
