File consists of letters to Wales from Nouwen and his administrative assistants; a scanned colour photograph of Wales and Nouwen; and printed black and white photographs. The photographs were taken at a reception given by Nouwen at his home for the visit of Bishop Howard Hubbard to the Yale Divinity School in November 1977. Photographs are of Nouwen, Bishop Hubbard, Wales, Louis Dupree, Richard Russel, George Linbeck, Leo O'Brian, and Francine Bowser. The photographs have descriptions on the back written by Wales. The back of one print is signed by Nouwen, Howard Hubbard, Matt Clark, and Mike Farno.
