History
The University Women's Chorus was first listed as one of the University of Toronto Faculty of Music ensembles in the Faculty's academic calendar for 1987-1988 under the direction of Michael Coghlan. Since then its conductors have included Ann Cooper-Gay, James Pinhorn, Doreen Rao, Robert Cooper, Lori Dolloff, Hilary Apfelstadt, Elaine Choi, Tracy Wong, and Maria Conkey. The name of the ensemble was changed to the "Soprano-Alto Chorus" starting in 2020.
